Snow Melting Cables
The Warmup Snow Melting Cables protect against snow and ice build-up over both concrete and asphalt surfaces to improve accessibility and avoid accidents.
Why heating pavements?
In winter, snow and ice threatens safety and represents a major problem which can cause slipping hazards for both people and vehicles. Avoid spending time clearing pavements when you are trying to get to work or just enjoy doing something else.
How does the System Work?
When the system detects snow fall or ice forming it automatically activates, to prevent their build up and deactivates again once it has been cleared to minimise energy usage. Systems can be designed to provide protection at temperatures down to -20°C.
Types of application
The snow melting cables for concrete and asphalt applications are available in a variety of lengths, allowing you to heat as small or large area as you need.
Ground applications
The heating cables are available in 2 versions. One version for under concrete and pavers and other version for under asphalt. The cables can be used in driveways, pathways, stairs, balconies, terraces, and any other ground area tht needs to be clear of snow and ice.
Roof and gutter applications
The snow melting cables are suitable for de-icing of roof and gutters
Features of the snowmelt cable
Warmup snow melting cables effortlessly prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on driveways, ramps, walkways, and stairs. The snow melting system is connected to a controller that receives moisture and temperature measurements. The cables are ideal for installation under concrete, pavers and asphalt.
Power Output
Provides a fixed heat output of 25 W/m and can be laid at spacings as close as 80 mm to provide a system with a capacity of 300 W/m² that would typically provide protection down to -20°C
Safety Standards
FIMKO approved and CE marked meeting the highest safety standards for ultimate peace of mind. 10 Warranty and SafetyNet Installation Guarantee
